Quarteto Engegård String Quartet
Formed under the midnight sun in the city of Lofoten in 2006, the group consists of Arvid Engegård and Alex Robson on the violin, Juliet Jopling on the viola, and Jan Clemens Carlsen on the cello. The Engegård Quartet is currently one of the most sought-after chamber music ensembles in Norway. Winner of Pizzicato magazine’s Supersonic Award (Luxembourg, 2010) with the album Vol. II Beethoven, Nordheim and Bartók, and winner of the first prize of the Open Class of Folkelarm with Susanne Lundeng (Norway, 2014).
