Free Open-air Concerts

The free-admission, outdoor concerts take place in the area outside the Ibirapuera Auditorium and are aimed at reaching a larger public, with a more informal character, at accessible times. These events can be enjoyed by the entire family and have the fundamental characteristic of reaching everyone circulating through the park, spreading classical music to a variety of people and fostering musical contemplation in an alternative environment.

One June 1, 2014, the Li Biao Percussion Group took to the Ibirapuera outdoor stage to perform a varied repertoire that ranged from Vivaldi to The Beatles.
In 2013, over eight thousand people attended a free open-air performance in Ibirapeura Park by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam, conducted by Mariss Jansons.
