The current winner of the BNDES International Piano Competition of Rio de Janeiro (2014), Russian pianist Daria Kiseleva was born in Kursk, in 1989, and began her piano studies at the age of four. Since 2010, she has been a student of Andrey Diev at the Moscow Conservatory. Aiming to expand her musical skills, Daria has participated in countless international festivals and competitions, such as the Palma de Mallorca International Piano Competition (2012), where she received first prize, that same year also winning the Grand Prize of the Shabyt Festival, in Astana (Kazakhstan).

Daria is performing with a chamber music group made up of musicians who are intensely active in the Brazilian and international musical scene, Ensemble SP.

Consisting of Betina Stegmann and Nelson Rios on the violins, Marcelo Jaffé on the viola and Roberto Suetholz on the cello, the ensemble’s repertoire includes works from the pre-classical period to today.
