Rafael Andrade lived in Valencia (Spain), where he participated at the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo, at Palau de Les Arts. He then moved to Washington DC (USA), where he participated in the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program under the guidance of conductor Louis Salemno.
