“Chung draws a performance
of rapt intensity from his players.” ”
—The Guardian, London
A distinctive trait of the Radio France Orchestra is its great flexibility which allows it to perform a varied repertoire, ranging from XIX century erudite literature to contemporary music. The group is headed by Korean conductor Myung-Whun Chung, who has already conducted the Berlin, Vienna, and New York Philharmonic orchestras. Adding to the high prestige of orchestra and conductor, is the Venezuelan pianist Sergio Tiempo, whose performances have been enrapturing American, European and Japanese audiences since his debut in 1986, at the stage of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
