Elected by Time magazine the best young classical musician in the United States in 2001, Hilary Hahn has started her international career in Germany, conducted by Lorin Maazel, when she was 15 years old. Her first experience in recording studios has granted her the Diapason d'Or in 1997 for her interpretation of Bach's sonatas and partitas.
Later, her album dedicated to Beethoven and Bernstein was nominated for the Grammy Awards – prize she conquered in 2001 with a recording of Brahms and Stravinsky. Hilary Hahn performs all over the world with the best European, Asian and North American orchestras.
She is a phenomenon in violin playing and an interpreter of admirable technical maturity, as well as one of the most captivating artists in the international concert music scene.
